MyMaps

Google has released MyMaps which makes incorporating Geography into lessons very easy.  I can see major uses with Language learning - and many other curriculum areas also.
Here is one of my attempts.

I especially like the way you can then export a KML file (this is what Google Earth reads) and place your map onto the globe.  This gives it a 3D base and allows you to literally fly around the world visiting and researching these topics.

What fun.

TeacherTube

An alternative to You Tube - these give you "teaching" tags and seem to be better moderated.
Here is a video I placed there.

Think Free

Using ThinkFree, you can embed just about any Office application into a blog or webpage.  The file must reside on a server somewhere.
Here is an example from a PowerPoint I did for introducing Digital Storytelling.  Click on the little screen on the bottom left.
